Sandra Louise Brown Perkins, age 66, of Jones Ridge, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Huntington Health and Rehab Center in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born December 13, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Rose Mae Arnett Brown. Sandra is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lenvil Perkins, whom she married June 15, 1968; two sons, Tony Perkins and wife Tina of Ashland, Kentucky, and Eric Perkins of Clearfield, Kentucky; one daughter, Kathy Skaggs of Clearfield, Kentucky; two brothers, Donald Brown of Morehead, Kentucky, and Paul Brown of Winchester, Kentucky; and seven grandchildren, Tabitha Perkins, Brayden Perkins, Layla Perkins, Jonathan Skaggs, Alicia Skaggs, Austin Skaggs, and Tyler Skaggs. Sandra was a former employee of the Life Care Center in Morehead and was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting antiques. Graveside services will be conducted noon Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Jones Cemetery on Jones Ridge in Clearfield with the Rev. David Starcher officiating.
