Obituary

Ruth Manning Binion Caudill, age 79, of Christy Creek Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born March 12, 1936, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Earnest Clinton and Irene Johnson Manning. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Joyce Manning Turvy, Earnest Clinton Manning II, Hollie D. Manning, John Paul Manning, Betty Taylor, Vivian Faye Evans, and Lee Ray Evans. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Ernest Binion in 1983, and her second husband, Eugene Caudill in 1996. She is survived by one son, Doug Caudill and Shelly of West Liberty; two daughters, Kathy Lewis and Ronnie of Morehead and Sonja Caudill of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Kemberly Tackett, Melissa Brown, Krista Utterback, James Douglas Caudill II, Miranda Caudill, Stephanie Adkins and Renna Johnson; 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Other survivors include three brothers, Levon Manning of Morehead, Kenneth Manning of Campbellsville, and Ronnie Joe Evans of New York; two sisters, Shelby Manning of Morehead and Nona Bartell of Branson, Missouri; extended family; and friends. Ruth was the owner and manager of the Binion Mobile Home Park and attended Elliottville Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother James Caudill II and Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
