Rustie Lavonn Tesch, age 62, of Big Run Road, Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. She was born June 29, 1956, in Leon, Iowa, and was a daughter of the late Ora Dale Shackleton and Mary Lou Cummins Shackleton. Rustie is survived by her companion, Paul Harding of Wallingford; one son, Joseph J. Shackleton and wife Peggy of Columbia, South Carolina; four sisters, Connie Spieker of Grundy Center, Iowa, Barbara Curtiss of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cindy Nightengale, Riceville, Iowa, and Amanda Minor Spring Valley, Minnesota; and two grandsons, Justin Wolfe and Braden Shackleton. She was a former employee of Bath Manufacturing and Simba-Carhartt, a former manager of Double Tree Industries, and a restaurant manager in Colorado. Rustie loved animals, especially her cats and dogs, and enjoyed quilting. At her request, there will be no visitation or service.
