Ruby Story Waggoner, age 78, of Waggoner Lane, Hillsboro, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014, at her residence. She was born September 13, 1935, in Fleming County, a daughter of the late Thomas Allen Story and Nettie Florence Johnson Story. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodford 'Buck' Story and James 'Bud' Story. Ruby is survived by her husband, Isom Pete Waggoner, whom she married July 18, 1959; one son, Terry Ray Royse and wife Donna of Hillsboro; one daughter, Debbie Ann Conley and husband Wayne of Hillsboro; one sister, Dorothy Gulley of Nicholasville; 7 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Ruby retired from Randall Textron in Flemingsburg after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Lower Rock Lick Enterprise Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Hutton Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Skaggs and Rev. John Paul Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Tera Carpenter, Darren Royse, Casey Weaver, Tina Claypool, Michael Conley, Kristy Hay, and Misty Hazelrigg. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
