Ruby Jewel Helton, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born September 5, 1953, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Harve Lennis Middleton and Vici Zelma Barker Middleton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Rena Blevins; two brothers, Harvey Lennis Middleton, Jr.; and Larry Gene Middleton; and two sisters, Rosemary James and Kathy Gilbert.

Ruby is survived by one son, James Ray Blevins (Carla) of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Kristy LaRae Ramey and Heather Reann Ramey, both of Morehead, Kentucky; two stepdaughters, Delina Howard (Ray) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Jennifer White of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and six grandchildren, Jacob Ray Blevins, Peyton Reann Leadingham, Rayden Eugene Leadingham, Kaylen Rae Leadingham, Alexis LaRae Tapp, and Michael Wayne Tapp.

Other survivors include one brother, Danny Ray Middleton (Wilma) of Grayson, Kentucky; six sisters, Janet Sue Puckett (Jimmy) of Morehead, Carrie Martha Gilbert of Grayson, Kentucky, Darlene Hall (Al) of Grayson, Kentucky, Debra Ann Steagall (Timothy) of Lancaster, Kentucky, Tonia Dee Sagraves (Phillip) of Grayson, Kentucky, and Alberta Howard (Rob) of Flatwoods, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ruby was a homemaker and former employee of the Life Care Center in Morehead.  She enjoyed watching television and spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed and remembered with love.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Hamm officiating.  Burial will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery in Carter City, Kentucky.

Pallbearers:  Chris Middleton, Rob Howard, Jacob Blevins, Dylan Howard, Phillip Sagraves, and Dennis Middleton.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
