Roy Miller Conn, age 82, of South Mill Branch, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012, at his residence. He was born September 5, 1929, in Salt Lick, Kentucky and was the son of the late Roy Maxie Conn and Irene Carter Conn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Delores Ann McKenzie Conn, on April 2, 2009, and a grandson, James Brent Conn, on October 5, 2007. Mr. Conn is survived by one daughter, Janis Ann Brown and husband Len of Morehead, Kentucky; two sons, Michael R. Conn and wife Brenda of Clearfield, Kentucky, and James Kent Conn of LaGrange, Kentucky; one brother, Fred Conn and wife Deanna of Owingsville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Jonathan Brown, Derek Brown, Joshua Brown, Holly Ann Brown, Roy Michael Conn, Bobi Conn, Daniel Conn, Jennifer Conn, and Tiffany Casey; and ten great grandchildren, Kaila Casey, Ashley Casey, Aidan Barker, Breanna Conn, Aubrey Smith, Amalee Conn, Cobi Conn, Marion Sage Conn, Braydon Conn, and Whitt Brown. Mr. Conn was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Spring Grove Dairy following 40 years of service. Roy was a member of the First Church of God and Salt Lick Masonic Lodge No. 682. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Allan Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Alfrey Cemetery with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Brown, Derek Brown, Joshua Brown, Roy Conn, Billy C. Evans, Darrell McKenzie, and Daniel Conn.
