Roy Melvin Barker, age 77, of Rodburn Hollow Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. Born August 16, 1940, in Indiana, he was the son of the late Roy and Lillie Jent Barker. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jewell Ferrell. Roy is survived by four sisters, Jean Littleton and Naomi Barnett, both of Morehead, and Wilma Gilliam and Mary Gilliam, both of Lapel, Indiana; two brothers, Cortney Barker of Somerset, Florida, and Jonathan David Barker of Milford, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Roy was a farmer and enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Quesinberry Cemetery Two on Quesinberry Road.
