Rosie Hattie Steagall Weaver, age 78, of Big Run Road, Wallingford, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018, at her residence. Born April 15, 1940, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Minnie Tackett Steagall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Estill Carl Weaver on February 13, 2001; one grandson, Chet Logan; one great grandson, Kiefer Rawlings Bentley; two sisters; and nine brothers. Rosie is survived by two sons, Estill Franklin (Ruby) Weaver and Jeffery Wilson (Jody) Weaver, all of Weaver Hollow; two daughters, Carla (Myron "Bud") Logan of Wallingford, and Connie Lynn (Jonathan) Morse of Flemingsburg; one brother, Leonard "Buck" Steagall of Morehead; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; extended family and many friends. She was a homemaker and attended the Charity Freewill Baptist Church. Rosie was an avid Rook player and enjoyed working puzzles and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Kidd and the Rev. Greg Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Weaver Family Cemetery. Pallbearers: Steve Steagall, David Weaver, Nathan Weaver, Devon Weaver, John Johnson, Randy Hamilton, Ray Weaver, and Ray Steagall. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
