Rosa Ellen Jordan Puckett, age 97, formerly of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Stow-Glen Retirement Village in Stow, Ohio. Born August 26, 1917, in Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Steven Wesley Jordan and Annie Bocook Jordan. In addition to her parents, Rosa's siblings preceded her in death: Thurston Jordan, Kenneth Jordan, Iniz Hargett, Trecy Underwood, and Perry Jordan. Rosa's husband, Everett Puckett, preceded her in death on March 17, 1997. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Sue and Edward Dickerhoof of Ravenna, Ohio, Lilly Mae and Bob Hodges of Mansfield, Ohio, and Alice Fay and John Burton of Rootstown, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. Rosa was a member of God's Church of Deliverance in Ravenna, Ohio, and was a loving mother and grandmother who spent her life serving God and caring for her family. Rosa will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched. Visitation is from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with a service immediately following at 3 p.m. with Rev. Harvey Puckett officiating.
