Rosa Magdalene Buckler Arthurs Albert, age 81, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at her home in Olive Hill, KY. Born February 7, 1931, in Carter County, KY, she was preceded in death by parents John and Fannie Stevens Buckler. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Chester Arthurs; a daughter, Mary Jane Hoelfelmeyer; a grandson, Christopher Hoelfelmeyer; a brother, John Buckler Jr.; three sisters, Bertha May Cordell, Lucille Samson, Pauline Conn; and an infant great granddaughter. Surviving are her children: two daughters, Oma Mabry of Morehead, KY, and Donna Patterson of Olive Hill, KY; two sons, Charles (Gracy) Arthurs of Columbus, Ohio and Mark (Peggy) Arthurs of Thornsville, OH; two great granddaughters, Mary and Christina Stevens, whom she raised from very young ages. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 2 brothers, Pastor Howard Eugene 'Gene' Buckler and Reverend Robert 'Bob' Buckler of Olive Hill, KY, and 2 sisters, Letha Opal Arthurs of Berea, KY, and Phyllis Taylor of Olive Hill, KY. We can't forget another part of the family that was very dear to her heart, loving and faithful, her 11-year-old sidekick 'Cuddles,' her poodle. We want to give very special thanks to Jamie and Amy Clay, devoted friends and neighbors. They were always there for her, whether it was to share their love and friendship or a helping hand. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Bob Buckler and Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Memorial Park in Olive Hill, KY. Pallbearers will be Casey Arthurs, Scott Runyon, Mark Wilber, Scotty Mabry, Michael Mabry, Jimmy Arthurs, and Kenneth Glover. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
