Ronnie Dale Thompson, age 60 of Maher Drive, Morehead, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at UK. St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

He was born December 22, 1964, in Greenup, Kentucky, and was a son of the late William Thompson, Sr. and Mary Jo Gevedon Thompson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Thompson.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Donna Stevens, whom he married January 24, 2020; four sons, Ronnie Thompson, Jr. of Madison, Tennessee, Brice Gulley and Anthony Gulley, both of Morehead, and Mickey Aaron Booth stationed in San Diego, California; two daughters, Natasha Brook White (Lloyd) of Paris and Bethany Jude (Justin) of Mt. Sterling; and four grandchildren.

Other survivors include three brothers, William Thompson, Jr. of Clay City, James Thomson of Clearfield, and David Thompson of Stanton; two sisters, Rebecca Luman of Springfield, Tennessee, and Patricia Pardue of Antioch, Tennessee; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ronnie served in the U.S. Army and was a self-employed drywaller. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He will be greatly missed.

A gathering for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.  A celebration of life will be held immediately following at 6 p.m. with Brother Glen Maschino officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by Morehead American Legion Post 126 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Northcutt & Son to assist with funeral expenses.
