Obituary

Roger Steven Utterback, age 66, of JM Clary Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 21, 1946, in Huntington, West Virginia, a son of the late John Buren and Dorma Dean France Utterback. He is survived by one son; David Lee Utterback and wife Miranda of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Mackenzi Leigh Utterback; two brothers, Lyle 'Sonny' Utterback and wife Vickie and John Anthony Utterback and wife Tammy, all of Mt. Carmel, Kentucky; two sisters, Willa Manning and husband Scott of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Nyla Utterback of Maysville, Kentucky; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home with Rev. David Hickerson, Rev. Steve Hickerson, Rev. Steve Harn, and Pastor Jesse Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. His many trucker friends will serve as pallbearers. Roger was a truck driver for USF Holland for more than 25 years and was a member of the Family Worship Center in Fleming County. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an account at Peoples Bank, P. O. Box 367, Flemingsburg, KY 41041 with money to be divided between the Cancer Care Club and Mt. Carmel Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation: Tuesday, January 8, 2013, after 5 p.m., Hutton Funeral Home Funeral: Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment: Mt. Carmel Cemetery
