Obituary

Roger Andrew Kindinger, 69, of Morehead, passed away February 22, 2015, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center after losing his battle with cancer. Roger was a loving father, grandfather, husband, Christian and veteran. He was loved by everyone who met him. He regularly attended the United Methodist Church of Morehead and the First Baptist Church of Morehead and was an active volunteer at People's Clinic. He was a jack-of-all trades and held many jobs in his life. He was passionate about his religion, was an auto enthusiast, a home repair person, and gardener. He loved to socialize and always had a smile or kind word for everyone who encountered him. He helped others in anyway he possibly could and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was born September 27, 1945, to the late Wilbur Paul and Pauline Bernice Mercer Kindinger. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell and Paul. Roger is survived by his two daughters, Dawn Cargile and her husband Daniel of Morehead and Crystal Kindinger of Florence; a grandson, Logan Clark of Florence; his devoted former wife, Dee Kindinger of Morehead; a sister, Beth Fowler and husband Howard of Monroe, North Carolina; a brother, Vern Kindinger and wife Martie of Defiance, Ohio; special sisters-in-law, Nancy Kindinger of Mansfield, Ohio, Marylin Wilson of Zephyr Hills, Florida, and Doris Netherly of Mt. Sterling; special friends, Mike Smith of Florence, Geno Nemetz of Indianapolis, Indiana; and several cousins. Visitation will be 3 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, with funeral services to be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with the Rev. Aaron Mansfield officiating. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home by Morehead American Legion Post 126. Visitation: Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 3 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 5 p.m.
