Roger Coleman Baugus, age 58, of Sharon Drive, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his residence. Born August 23, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, he was a son of the late Hubert and Betty Jean Anderson Baugus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Baugus and one sister, Candy Baugus. Roger is survived by two daughters, Santana Baugus of Morehead, Kentucky, and Victoria Milhoan of Chandler, Arizona; one step son, Ryan Rowe and wife Shelva of West Liberty, Kentucky; two brothers, Hubert Gene Baugus of Pikeville, Kentucky, and Phillip Anderson of Ashland City, Tennessee; three step grandchildren, Kaylee Elliott, Jericlay Hope Rowe, and Riley Rowe; one step great grandson, Kaden Elliott; special friend, Sharon Baugus of Morehead, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. Roger was a U.S. Navy veteran and graduated from the University of Kentucky earning a master's degree in clinical social work. He was a social worker at various locations and became disabled after suffering a heart attack in 2005. He enjoyed playing music, loved working on computers and helping family and friends with college studies. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Pete Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in West Liberty Memorial Gardens with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers will be Morehead American Legion Post No. 126 members. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
