Rocky Lane Morris, age 53, of Pretty Ridge Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born December 9, 1963, in Morehead, the son of Josephine Brown Morris of Morehead and the late Adron Morris, who passed away December 18, 2010. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Nikki (Chris) Purvis of Owingsville and Deanndra Napier of Morehead; three grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Steven Napier and Kandice Napier; and two step grandchildren, Bryson and Ava Purvis. Also surviving are two brothers, Rick (Pamela) Brown and Dwayne (Shelly) Morris of Morehead; aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Rocky was a self-employed block mason and enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. "Herbie" Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jamie Lowe, Jack Withrow, Brandyn Hale, Alan Peck, Brandon Scott, Danny Cook.
