Roberta 'Kay' Strange Bradley, age 65, of Morehead, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, at her brother's home. She was born August 6, 1949, in Bath County, to the late Grant and Mary Elizabeth Lee Strange. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Claude Strange. Her husband of 38 years, Gail Melburn Bradley, passed away May 30, 2014. Kay is survived by one son, Melburn Bradley of Morehead; two daughters, Virginia 'Jenny' Bradley Gray and husband Terry of Flemingsburg and Linda Jo Bradley of Morehead; and one grandson, Dewayne Gray. Other survivors include one brother, Wayne Strange of Morehead; two sisters, Barbara Pennington and husband Wilford of Morehead and Linda Conley of Hillsboro; a God daughter, Deborah Ferguson of Franklin, Louisiana; a host of nieces and nephews; and her dog, 'Boomer.' Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker and beautician and attended the Rodburn Church of God. She enjoyed bird watching, crocheting, working in her flowers, and watching The Young & the Restless. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Harry Gay and Bro. Jerry Arbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers: Danny Bradley, Jerry Bradley, Linda Jo Bradley, Eddie Mekelburg, Chris Bales, and Elizabeth Bales.
