Robert Nathan (Nate) Henderson, 43, of Lexington, tragically passed away April 18, 2018, from a heart attack while traveling on business in Kansas. His donation to the Gift of Life program represents his lifelong consideration for others. He was born March 19, 1975, in Ashland, the son of Vada Lou Fyfe Henderson and the late Leslie A. Henderson, Sr. Formerly of Olive Hill, Nate graduated with honors from West Carter High School in 1993 where he also served as class president. He coached his son's t-ball, football and basketball teams and was a supportive "Cheer Dad" who helped his own girls as well as others on the team who needed support. He knew cheerleading is a sport! Nate was a golfer, UK fan, and Notre Dame fan-often referring to himself as Irish. Nathan loved cooking and barbecuing and he and Amy enjoyed hosting gatherings for family and friends.
