Obituary

Robert Frank -Bobby- Kennard, age 56, of Clayton Lane, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born June 20, 1955, in Ashland, Kentucky, he was the son of Joann Fultz Kennard Conley of Soldier, Kentucky, and Frank Lewis Kennard, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, deceased. Bobby was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Ivan Conley, and a sister-in-law, Andrea R. Kennard. In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by three brothers, David Kennard of Morehead, Kentucky, Neal Conley and his wife Patty of Clearfield, Kentucky, along with their daughter (his niece), Hannah Nicole, and Michael Conley of South Point, Ohio; one sister, Jenny Moore of Clearfield, Kentucky; and his special friend, Marjorie Duncan. Bobby graduated from West Carter High School. He received a Bachelor-s Degree in History from Morehead State University and a St. Claire Regional Medical Center employee for 25 years. Bobby was a voracious reader and especially enjoyed Russian history, the Arts, and had an appreciation for antique cars. A -Celebration of Life- Memoriam will be held at the Hampton Inn in Morehead, Kentucky, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011, for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) http://www.aspca.org . Donations may also be made to the local S.T.A.R. Program (Saving the Animals at Rowan). Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
