Robert Edgar 'Bob' Spencer, age 75, of James Road, Wallingford, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at his residence. Born April 27, 1940, in Menifee County, he was a son of the late Boyd and Anne King Spencer. Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Vise Spencer, whom he married March 13, 1971; three sons, David Spencer of Wallingford, Robert Morton Spencer of Hillsboro, and Roy Wayne Spencer and wife Donna of Flemingsburg; two daughters, Becky Burke and husband Leonard and Debbie Caswell , all of Wallingford; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother, Mason Spencer of Rensselaer, Indiana; two sisters, Emma Mae Killgo of Elkhart, Texas, and Aldene Williams of Menifee County; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a retired pipeline welder's helper for Union 798 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed riding his atv mule, relaxing at the pond feeding fish, and spending time with family. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Cemetery in Menifee County. Pallbearers: Cody Caswell, Jessee Caswell, Tommy Gorman, Billy Jo Denton, Danny Collins, Rick Burkett, Jacob Wallingford, and Donald 'Duck' Wallingford.
