Robert Wayne -Bob- Mason, age 63, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at the St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead. He was born July 11, 1945, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and was the son of the late William K. and Evelyn Smith Mason. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Whisman Mason; two daughters, Shonna Dean and husband David of Morehead, Kentucky, and Lucinda Mabry of Owingsville, Kentucky; two sons, Rocky Mason and wife Sheila and Jamie Mason and wife Melody, all of Morehead, Kentucky; one sister, Betty Thurman of Evansville, Indiana; three grandchildren, Dakota Mason, Brandon Mason, and Brianna Mabry; four step grandchildren, Daniel Stevens, Patricia Stevens, Brittany Jones and Ryan Jones; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a caretaker at Lake Lewman. He attended the Bible Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jack Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Whisman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Whisman, Bob Stacy, Tyler Ginter, Ryan Jones, Eddie Stacy, Lewis Thurman, and Wendell Stacy.
