Robert A. 'Bob' Jones, age 67, of Brinegar Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, at his residence. He was born June 18, 1945, in Kayford, West Virginia, a son of the late Marshall Lee Jones and Verna Williams Jones. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Carlos Jones, Virgil Jones, Richard 'Dick' Jones, and Randall Lee 'Sausage Man' Jones, and four sisters, Jeanie Jones, Doris Jones, Charlotte Jones, and Ruby Jones. Bob is survived by his wife, Betty Jones, whom he married May 4, 1984; four children; Roberta Ann Jones and husband Rafael A. Figuera of Puerto Rico, Suszanne Jones, Robert Allen 'Robbie' Jones, and Charles Robert Jones, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Anna Michelle Nogueras, Cindy Ann Nogueras, Savannah Marie Jones, Julissa Flores, and Isaiah Allen Jones. Other survivors include three brothers, Delbert Jones of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Troy Jones and wife Becky and Johnny Jones, all of Cleveland, Ohio; sister-in-law, Shirley Kay Jones of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Bob served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War, was a salesman at Southern States for 17 years, and a lifelong farmer. He was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery on Brinegar Road with military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers: Don Williams, Paul O'Daniel, Michael Williams, Robert Allen Jones, Charles Robert Jones, and Suszanne Jones.
