Robert E. "Bob" Dickerson, age 78, of Quail Hollow, Morehead, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Born January 21, 1939, in Newark, Ohio, he was the son of the late Raymond Clarence Dickerson and Esther Tucker Dickerson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Phillip Dickerson, and a sister, Jean Tucker. Bob is survived by his wife, Karen Kidd Dickerson; six children, Aaron S. Dickerson of Olive Hill, Nathan Ty Dickerson and wife Carolyn of Pataskala, Ohio, Robert Chad Dickerson of Olive Hill, Daniel C. Dickerson of Olive Hill, Timothy A. Dickerson and wife Tracey of Olive Hill, and Kelcey Manna and husband Mark of Morehead. Other survivors include 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends. Bob was a former heavy equipment operator, farmer, and owner of Bob's Service in Olive Hill for seven years. He loved photography and gardening. Bob was a ministerial servant of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Randy Russell officiating.
