Ricky Lee Sargent, age 39, of East Main Street, Morehead, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the home of his mother. He was born March 19, 1975, in Fayette County, a son of Louise Adkins Sargent of Morehead, and James D. (J. D.) Sargent, who passed away June 26, 2000. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shelia Gay Sargent. In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by his wife, Kathy May Trimble Sargent; two sons and one daughter, Austin Tyler Sargent, Kyle Lee Sargent, and Hayley Ruth Sargent, all of Morehead; two brothers, James D. Sargent, Jr., and Anthony Sargent, both of West Liberty; grandmother, Edith N. Adkins of Morehead; special niece, Julia Louise Sargent; and other loving family and friends. Ricky enjoyed working on the farm, hunting, fishing, and taking care of his children. He was loved by all and will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eugene Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Sargent Family Cemetery at Blairs Mill. Pallbearers: Austin Tyler Sargent, Kaleb Sargent, Mike Perry, Anthony Wright, Cory Ferguson, Mark Zornes, Scotty Caudill, Davey Hale.
