Ricky Dale Jent, age 60, of Colfax Road, Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg. He was born March 1, 1955, in Montgomery County, and was a son of the late Ervin David and Edna Jane Curtis Jent. Ricky is survived by his wife 39 years, Coleen Morris Jent, whom he married December 23, 1975; one son, Brian Morris of Hillsboro; two daughters, Crystal and Joey Jefferson of Morehead, and Stacy Jent and Matt Gardner of Flemingsburg; and three grandchildren, Derek Jefferson and Ava and Layla Gardner. Other survivors include five brothers and one sister, David and Donna Jent, Daniel and Jean Jent, Monty and Kitty Jent, all of Colfax; Dennis Jent of Peasticks, Charles 'Chubby' and Karen Curtis of Grange City and Cindy Deatra and Ray Weaver of Crain Creek; mother-in-law, Ruby Howard Morris of Colfax; and several nieces and nephews. Ricky retired from R. E. Huber Construction and was a self-employed dozer operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his atv mule, and gardening. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Engle officiating. Burial will follow in the Jent Family Cemetery on Johnson Ford Road, Colfax. Pallbearers: David Jent, Dennis Jent, Daniel Jent, Chubby Curtis, Ray Weaver, Brian Morris, Clarence Morris, and Joey Jefferson.
