Obituary

Ricky Lydell Bowling, age 57, of Rocky Road, Hillsboro, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born February 28, 1959, in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Willard and Nadine Leadingham Bowling. He is survived by his wife, Penny Gooding Bowling; one son, Ricky Edward 'Eddie' Bowling of Huntington, West Virginia; one daughter, Christi Perkins (Josh Hamric) of Morehead; and three grandchildren, Jacob Perkins, and Wyatt and Aiyanna Hamric. Other survivors include two brothers, John Bowling (Lorene) of Olive Hill and Lester Bowling (Alma) of Grayson; three step children, Brandon Hamilton, Kyle Hamilton, and Maggie Hamilton, all of Fleming County; three step grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ryder, and Cole Hamilton; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Ricky was an employee of Aarons Best One Tire in Morehead and was a member of the Little Jewell Regular Baptist Church in Ashland. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Elder Terry Bryant, Elder Junior Ruggles, and Elder James Slone officiating. Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kyle Hamilton, Brandon Hamilton, Shannon Blankenbeckler, Johnny Bowling, Aaron Roberts, Steve Hammond and Wayne Engles. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Thursday, January 26, 2017, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral: Friday, January 27, 2017, 11 a.m. at Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel Interment: Goddard Cemetery
