Rickey Allen Stone

Rickey Allen Stone, age 64, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his home.

Born August 4, 1962, in Morehead, he was a son of the late George Stone and Charlene Rose Stone. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Pam Stone and Denise Culp.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Tommie Crum Stone, whom he married December 10, 1984; two daughters, Tiffney Kelsey (Aaron) of Carthage, Missouri, and Tessa Stone of Pueblo, Colorado; and two grandchildren, Jacob Kelsey and Jonathan Kelsey.

Other survivors include one brother, David Stone of Salt Lick; four sisters, Brenda Robinson, Joyce Lewis, and Beverly Lewis, all of Morehead, and Vicky Helton of Salyersville; several nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family and friends.

Ricky was a former employee of Planks Mobile Home Movers in Morehead. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and watching Westerns, especially Gunsmoke being his favorite.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Brother Herbert D. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery in Elliott County.

Pallbearers: David Stone, Jacob Kelsey, Jonathan Kelsey, Tony Kronmueller, Anthony Kronmueller, and Ashton Kronmueller.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all contributions be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, P.O. Box 388, Morehead, KY 40351 to assist with funeral expenses.
