Richard Dale "Ricky" Mynhier, Sr., age 75, of Mynhier Road, Morehead, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 30, 2026, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born June 7, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Omer Mynhier and Geneve Hardin Mynhier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dale "Richie" Mynhier, Jr., and a brother, Bill Mynhier.

Rick is survived by one son, Robbie Mynhier of Morehead; two grandchildren, Kindra Jennings and R.J. Mynhier, both of Morehead; one great granddaughter, Kinsey Jennings; a special niece and nephew, April Gold and Junior Mynhier, both of Florida, as well as other extended family and friends.

He was a self-employed painter and enjoyed car racing, being outdoors, cooking out, and especially spending time with grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
