Obituary

Relna Lucille Jordan Lewis, age 74, of Dillon Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, formerly of Lewis County, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born December 14, 1934, daughter of the late Charles Estil Jordan and Virgie Lee Clark Jordan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister and an infant daughter. Ms. Lewis is survived by three sons and three daughters: Brenda (Ronnie) Combs of Morehead, KY; Donald Lewis, Jr., of Lexington, KY; Charles Christopher (Patricia) Lewis of Vanceburg, KY; Diana (Kevin) Holleran of Lexington, KY; David (Lynn) Lewis of Salt Lick, KY; and Alisa (Neal) Bailey of Morehead, KY. Other survivors include one sister, Carolyn (Steven) Henderson of Vanceburg, KY; one brother, Charles Jordan, Jr., of Vanceburg, KY; nine grandchildren: April Ward, Samantha, Rosemary, Sarah and Tyler Lewis, Chad and Matthew Holleran, and Taylor and Todd Bailey; eight step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of step great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. Ms. Lewis was a public benefits counselor with Legal Aid of the Bluegrass. Relna enjoyed reading, quilting, cross-stitching, and gardening. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ron Callahan and Pastor John Wineland officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens, Vanceburg, KY. Pallbearers will be Chad Holleran, Matthew Holleran, Todd Bailey, Taylor Bailey, Tyler Lewis, Bryan Combs, Jacob Griffith, Zachary Griffith, and Rodney Skaggs. Visitation for Relna Lucille Jordan Lewis is after 7 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, Kentucky. Visitation: Friday, October 9, 2009, after 7 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, October 10, 2009, at 11 a.m. Interment: Lewis County Memory Gardens
