Raymond Perry, age 91, of Judy Lane, Morehead, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his residence.

Born February 19, 1931, in Morgan County, he was a son of the late Jack Howard Perry and Lou Alma Fisher Perry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Charlie Perry, Jack Howard Perry, Jr., Billy Perry, Don Perry, and Joe Perry.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Utterback Perry, whom he married August 18, 1950; one daughter, Judy Lewis and husband Herbie; two sons, Dennis Perry and wife Paula and Steve Perry and wife Angie, all of Morehead; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Other survivors include two sisters, Ruby Carter of Clearfield and Juanita Weaver of Morehead, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as extended family and friends.

He was a farmer and a retired brick mason.  Raymond was a devoted Christian and attended Lower Rock Lick Enterprise Baptist Church.

Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and Christian. He enjoyed hunting, (especially in his younger years), farming, attending farm sales and equipment auctions, and was a talented woodworking craftsman. As Raymond would say, "I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none."

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. Lewis and Pastor Willie Skaggs, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Perry Lewis, Grant Perry, Kayne Perry, Roger Utterback, Jack Hughes, Channing Cantrell, and Caleb Spencer.

Visitation will from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
