Raymond Junior Conn, age 61, of Elliottville, KY, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born May 13, 1948, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Bill and Molly Fraley Conn. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Conn and Harlan Conn, and two sisters, Hattie M. Conn and Lottie Tolliver. Raymond is survived by one son, Danny R. Conn of Peebles, Ohio; two daughters, Rhonda Hitch of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and Sara Rene Smith of Olive Hill, Kentucky and one grandson, Darrell Dewayne Hitch. Also surviving are two sisters, Julia Creech of Hebron, Connecticut, and Opal March of Dayton, Ohio. Raymond was a former truck driver. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bill Catron officiating. Burial will follow in the Fraley Cemetery on Brown Ridge. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
