Ralph Ginter, age 84, of U. S. 60 East, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Life Care Center in Morehead.

Born December 6, 1938, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, he was a son of the late Thomas Otis Ginter and Effie Mae Morris Ginter.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Ann Ginter; an infant son, Ralph Ginter, Jr.; two brothers, Charlie Ginter and the Rev. Thomas Ginter, Jr.; two sisters, Mary McKinney and Linda Lou Ginter; and the mother of his children, Anna Pearl "Sally" Adams Ginter.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Mitchell Ginter and wife Melody of Radnor, Ohio, and Ralph Edward Ginter and wife Suzi of Ashland, Kentucky; one sister, Alpha Jennings of Clearfield; six brothers, Earl Ginter, Ernest Lee Ginter, Teddy Ginter, Freddy Ginter, Jessie Ginter, and Glenn Ginter, all of Morehead; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; extended family members and friends.

Ralph was a self-employed auto body repairman operating Ginter's Body Shop with his brother Earl. He was a former factory worker in Michigan, a mechanic for Ed Mabry, a Morehead City police officer, and a construction equipment operator.

He enjoyed restoring old automobiles and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351. A private graveside service will be held at Muses Mill Cemetery in Wallingford.
