Plummer Mason Jones III, age 61, of Morehead, widower of Susan Morgan Jones, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. Born in New York City, he is the son of Vivian Hereford Jones of Morehead and the late Plummer Mason Jones Jr. In addition to his mother, Mason is survived by two sons, Patrick O'Neil Jones and Plummer Mason Jones IV, both of Lexington; one grandson, Ethan Blake Adkins; two brothers, Eric Roth Jones of Morehead and Grover Cleveland Jones of College Station, TX; one niece, Hannah Jones, and one nephew, Casey Jones, both of College Station, TX. In addition to his wife and father, he was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Jeffrey Lee Jones. Mason graduated from Morehead State University, was a former realtor with ERA Team Realtors, and a former marketing representative and member of the AGS Achievement Club in Houston, Texas. He was a member of the Herrington Lake Yacht Club. Mason was a former member of Lexington Central Christian Church and a current member of Burgin Christian Church. A Time of Remembrance will be held from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road, Lexington.
