Phyllis Anne "Pucky" Jayne Bradley, 90, of Meadowbrook Drive, Morehead, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at her home. Born March 8, 1927, in Ashland, she was the only child of the late LeGrand Jayne and Charlotte Waugh Jayne Almond. William E. "Bill" Bradley, Pucky's husband of 64 years, preceded her in death on August 27, 2012. She is survived by one son, William "Rick" Bradley and wife Yvonne of Morehead; one daughter, Cathy Bradley Kays (late husband Wayne) of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Dana Bradley Quesinberry, Bradley (Kristi) Kays, and Chad (Jennifer) Kays; and six great grandchildren, Will (Shelby) Quesinberry, Maggie Quesinberry, Ella Kays, Libby Kays, Madison Kays, and Aiden Kays. She also leaves behind her loyal caregiver, Carol Chapman, and many dear friends. Pucky earned her bachelor's degree at Morehead State University, where Jayne Memorial Stadium was named for her grandfather, William LeGrand Jayne. She and Bill were longtime supporters of MSU athletics and enjoyed attending sports events. Both were also members of the MSU Alumni Association, avid golfers, and community oriented. Pucky served as Rowan Deputy Circuit Clerk for 17 ½ years, was a sixth-grade teacher at Morehead Grade School for a number of years, and was office manager for Dr. Billie Jo Caudill. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed the company of her beloved dog Chip, collecting Santas, reflecting on historical events, and sharing family history. She was a member of Morehead United Methodist Church. Graveside services for family and friends will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Lee Cemetery with Brother Aryn Merritt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Morehead-Rowan County EMS, P. O. Box 842, Morehead, KY 40351. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is caring for arrangements.
