Obituary

Phyllis Langworthy Keeton, age 75, formerly of Frenchburg, passed away on March 26, 2017, in Morehead, where she resided the past few years. Born October 25, 1941, in Menifee County, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys Walton Langworthy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ryan Langworthy. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 58 years, the Rev. Luther Keeton, whom she wed April 25, 1958; her son, Randall (Marsha) Keeton of New Hudson, Michigan; her sister, Frances Langworthy Back; brother, James (Jo) Langworthy, and brother, Mark Langworthy, all of Frenchburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bethany (Joe) Keeton Keeling, Evan Keeton, Robin Tharp, and Jessica Brickey; and her great grandchildren, Emma Keeling, Natalie Dean, and Ava Temple. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt, and many friends. She was a graduate of Menifee County High School, a medical assistant, and a member of the Church of God (Anderson, IN). She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Benson-Craig Cemetery, KY 36, Craig Hill, Frenchburg, with the Rev. Roger Wells officiating. Pallbearers: Todd Trimble, Carlas Tufono, Dewayne Brown, Joe Keeling, Joseph Langworthy, and Justin McCormick. Visitation will be after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
