Phillip Andrew Hardin, age 63, of KY 173, Morehead, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016, at his residence. He was born July 14, 1952, in West Liberty, a son of Joann Easterling Hardin of Clearfield and the late Vernon Paul 'Sonny' Hardin. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Hardin. In addition to his mother, Phil is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane Pennington Hardin; one son, Kevin Hardin; and one granddaughter, Taylor Hardin, all of Morehead; one step grandson, Brandon Bridges of Lexington; one brother, Gordon Hardin of Clearfield; and one sister, Connie Lewis of Georgetown. He also leaves several nieces and nephews who will sadly miss him. Phil enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, Bluegrass music, and visiting with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother John Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Horton Cemetery in Elliott County. Pallbearers: Timothy Crum, Shane Dennis, Randy Pennington, Brandon Bridges, Chad Goley, John Wolfenbarger. Honorary pallbearers: Howard McVey, Rocky Horton, Buryl Russell Sr., Joe Smith, Ralph Davis.
