Phillip Jarvey Goodan, age 79, of Lost Hills, Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Life Care Center in Morehead.

Born March 29, 1943, in Elliottville, Phillip was a son of the late Beckham Goodan and Cora Fultz Goodan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Dan Goodan, Loring Goodan, John Ed Goodan, and Roger Caudill; one sister, Barbara Lemmons; and step mother, Oney Bego Goodan.

Phillip is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth Ann Webb Goodan; two sons, Jesse Goodan and Joseph Goodan and wife Erica; one daughter, Jennifer Eden, all of Olive Hill; five grandchildren, Patrick Goodan, Cash Goodan, Cody McCleese, Macy Goodan, and Raelynn; and one step grandchild, Shealynn Wilson.

Other survivors include two brothers, Raymond Goodan and wife Dotsie and Eddie Goodan and wife Joan, all of Olive Hill; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

He was a retired construction worker and enjoyed working on machinery, loafing, and spending time family and friends.  Phillip will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Day and Brother Victor Mabry officiating.  Burial will follow in Goodan & Fultz Cemetery on White Branch Road off Christy Creek.

Pallbearers:  Jeffrey Goodan, Sr., Jeffrey Goodan, Jr., Richard Goodan, Tim Goodan, Randy Caudill, Reggie Caudill, and John Bowling.  Honorary pallbearers:  Elwood Caudill and Buck Tackett.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351
