Obituary

Pauline Sparks Sturgill, age 84, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. She was born November 21, 1922, at Little Perry in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Charles Alfred and Amelia Fletcher Sparks. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Nickols, and three brothers, Ruben Adams, Virgil Sparks, and Elmer Sparks. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Lewis Sturgill; one son, Ralph Sturgill; three sisters, Edith Reeder of Morehead, Kentucky, Edna McKinney of Roanoke, Virginia, and Fay Littleton of Carlisle, Ohio; one brother, Ivan Sparks of Richmond, Indiana. Mrs. Sturgill was a homemaker who enjoyed her flowers and all animals, especially her dog Pokey. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Elder Deward Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the New Sill Cemetery. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Tuesday, September 4, 2007, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at 10 a.m. Interment: ew Sill Cemetery
