Pauline Utterback Cole, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Unit in Perry, Georgia. She was born on August 31, 1932, in Morehead, to the late William Rufus "Bill Pug" Utterback and Maggie Marie Jenkins Utterback. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James D. Cole; two daughters, Peggy Ostrom and Judith Calandra; two sisters, Grace Gregory and Charlotte Donahue; and two brothers, Chalmer Elwood Utterback and Charles Utterback. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shirley Lomas, Timothy (Darlene) Johnson, Kimberly Little, Phillip "Scott" (Janet) Johnson and Lisa Rodriguez (Tony); 22 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren, one sister, Kay Fannin on Morehead; several nieces and nephews; and her "Baby" Griffen the dog. She retired as an electronics circuit board assembler from Electrotec. Pauline loved spending her time playing dominos and cards and loved watching game shows in her later years. She also loved to watch Dancing with the Stars and The Voice. She was a part of a bowling league and a Bunco club.
