Pauline Adams Arledge, age 85, of Alexander Drive, Salt Lick, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at her home. Born February 13, 1928, in Nitro, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Queen Switzer Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Arledge, on December 3, 1987; one brother, Matthew Adams; three sisters, Mary Margaret Evans, Bertha Adams, and Francis Burgin; and one great grandson, Gauge Overly. Mrs. Arledge is survived by three sons, Davis Davis, Richard Dickerson and wife Debbie, and Michael Dickerson and wife Patty, all of Salt Lick, Kentucky; one daughter, Susan Purpura and husband Mike of Columbus, Ohio; five grandsons, Chris Davis, David Overly, Shane, Landon, and Matt Dickerson; one granddaughter, Leslie Gentiella; nine great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her special Boston Terrier, 'Buster.' Mrs. Arledge was a retired computer operator for the Jim Walters Company in Tampa, Florida. She was a very spiritual lady and enjoyed reading and working in her garden. At her request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
