Patty Ann Burton, age 63, of Boodry Place, Morehead, was born January 6, 1953, at Haldeman in Rowan County, and passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Patty was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Adkins Christian, and stepfather, Hazel Christian; brothers, Nickie Burton and Paul E. Burton; nephew, Tony McKinniss; brother-in-law, Wayne McKinnis; and former husband and father of her son, David Frank Tesso. She is survived by the love of her life, Don Fiek, whom she loved dearly; her son, David Eric Tesso (Jennifer Jones) of Clearfield and grandsons, Tye Jones Tesso and Baby A; sisters, Dorothy Sue Burton, Geraldine McKinniss, Betty Mason (David), Carol Sloan (Mickie), all of Morehead; bother, Bobby Burton (Nickie) of Galion, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved and cherished. Patty's family was her first priority. She loved family get-togethers and holiday meal planning. Time spent with her family was a great enjoyment to her. She also enjoyed playing cards and watching old TV shows and movies--she loved Shirley Temple movies. Patty will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in New Sill Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
