Patrick Roger Gilliam, age 37, of Brinegar Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013, at his home. Born May 27, 1976, in Lexington, Kentucky, he is the son of Roger Dale Gilliam, who passed away January 9, 1988, and Patty Cains and her fianc-, Randy Ferguson, of Morehead. He is also survived by his wife, Kendra Duncan Gilliam and two children, Kennith Dale Gilliam and Shanna Ann Gilliam of Ashland, Kentucky; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Shawn and Melissa Gilliam of Georgetown and Rodney and Loretta Gilliam of Olive Hill; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Caudill King of Morehead; two nephews, Joshua and Wesley Gilliam of Olive Hill, and two nieces, Regan and Raven Gilliam of Georgetown. Besides his father, Patrick was preceded in death by one brother, Mickey Gilliam. Patrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Vaughn Thornsberry officiating. Burial will be in the Gilliam Cemetery in Carter County. Honorary Pallbearers: Michael Clark, Joshua Gilliam, Wesley Gilliam, David Brown, Brian Butler, and Christopher Pernell.
