Patricia Elam Middleton, age 72, of Cline Court, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Born September 21, 1942, in Joliet, Illinois, she was the only child of Avery and Lillie Bays Elam. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Middleton, who passed away November 15, 2008. Patricia is survived by one son, Ron Middleton and Melissa Stacy of Morehead; one granddaughter, Aeryn Middleton of Morehead; and special friends, Lynn Eisenhour, Kellie Crump, Jessica McCoy, and Leah Gillum. Patricia was a retired secretary from the Grace Assembly of God, where she was a devoted member and enjoyed church activities. She was a longtime member and past worthy matron of Morehead Chapter 227, Order of the Eastern Star. Patricia also enjoyed crocheting, volunteering as a middle school speech coach, and spending time with her beloved granddaughter, Aeryn. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Carey Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Eastern star services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday by Morehead Chapter 227.
