Paris Adlai Nelson, age 59, of Hideaway Ridge, Morehead, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019, at his residence.

Born January 2, 1960, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late William Nelson and Exie Jones Nelson.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Nelson and Hershel Nelson.

Paris is survived by two sons, Paris Joseph "Joe" Nelson and Patrick Ryan Nelson, both of Greenwich, Ohio; three sisters, Verna Nelson of Paris, Kentucky, Victoria "Vickie" Pernell of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Catherine Louise Pernell of Morehead; extended family and friends.

Paris was a former employee of Fannin's Ashland in Morehead, Cooper Tire in Mt. Sterling, and Tappan's Inc. in Mansfield, Ohio, as well as a former truck driver for Ken-More Stone in Morehead.

Paris enjoyed the great outdoors, camping and fishing, watching car racing and football.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
