Obituary

Pamela Jones Fannin, age 58, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at her residence. She was born November 24, 1950, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, and is the daughter of Viola Mae Barbour Jones of Farmers, Kentucky, and the late Owen Edward Jones. In addition to her mother, Pam is survived by her husband of 41 years, James Ishmel Fannin, whom she wed on June 1, 1968; two sons and their wives, Robbie and Sandy Fannin of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and David and Tiffany Fannin of Clearfield, Kentucky; three grandchildren, J. T. Fannin, Trevor Fannin, and Austin Fannin; and one sister, Lisa Atkins of Farmers, Kentucky. Pam was the office manager at the Sandy Hook Water District for several years and was a member of the Lytten Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2009, at the Lytten Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ with Bishop Denzil Fannin and Brother Clyde Mays, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Fannin Cemetery in Elliott County on Route 173. Pallbearers: Ed Kidd, Troy Fannin, Ronnie Whitt, Charles Whitt, Ed Pennington, Fred Pennington, Anthony Pennington, and Bradley Winkleman. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2009, at the Lytten Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals is caring for arrangements.
