Oscar B. Kegley, age 80, of Old Tennessee Gas Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the Life Care Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born April 14, 1929, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Harve and Thursday Nickells Kegley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by one son, Eldon Ray Kegley of Springfield, Ohio; two daughters, Tina Marie Gregory of Urbana, Ohio, and Edna Mae Wilson of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Jewell Mabry of Morgan County, Kentucky, and Shirley Black of Morehead, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Oscar was a self-employed carpenter until 25 years ago when he started the Circle K Ranch boarding horses in Woodstock, Georgia. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
