Obituary

Opal Lee Andrews Howard Bradley, age 60, of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Life Care Center of Morehead. She was born February 18, 1955, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late William Everett 'Bill' Andrews and Margie Hanes Andrews Combs. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Howard, in 1986 and second husband, Orville Bradley, in 2007. Opal is survived by one son, Cecil James Howard and wife Pam of New Carlisle, Ohio; one brother, David and Malinda Andrews of Morehead; three sisters; Bernice Bradley of Morehead, Patricia and Chris Duffy of Elliott County, and Kathy Haines of Remlap, Alabama; four grandchildren, Amber Howard, C. J. Howard II, Theodore Howard and Joshua Garcia; and one great granddaughter, Sydni Howard. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. A special thank you is extended to Kim for her loving care and attention to her Aunt Opal. Opal worked at International Harvester in Springfield, Ohio, for a number of years. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting and singing gospel music. Opal was a member of Morehead United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Dean and Rev. Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Clearfield Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is 5 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
