Oliver Lee Perry, age 79, of Oak Grove Road, Morehead, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at his residence.

He was born January 28, 1942, in Rowan County, and was the son of the late Dexter Perry and Alice Hampton Perry.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Evelyn Slusher Perry on February 15, 2009; one brother, Henry "Hank" Perry; and two sisters, Zona Perry and Dorothy McKinney.

Mr. Perry is survived by one daughter, Carol Cecil and husband Gary Allen; one grandson, Austin Allen Cecil and wife Leslie Faith; and two great grandsons, Easton and Corbin Cecil, all of West Liberty.

Other survivors include three brothers, Victor Perry, Paul Perry, and Arlie Perry; one sister, Geraldine Perry, all of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and raising his animals.

Private graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Perry Cemetery, Oak Grove Road, Morehead, Kentucky.
