Nowana Jessee Lewis, age 59, of Donna Street, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at her residence after an extended illness. Born December 11, 1958, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Louis Hayden and Mary Jo Poston Jessee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Jessee, and one sister, Renea Davis. Survivors include one son, Matthew Alan Lewis (companion Summar Oakley) of Clearfield; one brother, Ken Jessee of Huntsville, Alabama; extended family; and friends. Nowana graduated from Rowan County Senior High School and Morehead State University. She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and helping others. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Tony Glover officiating.
