Norval Lafon Edens, age 91, formerly of U.S. 60 West, Olive Hill, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Morehead, where he resided the last several years. Born October 5, 1926, at Enterprise, in Carter County, Norval was the son of the late Pete H. and Malvary Williams Eden. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Dorothy Sublett, Vada Clay, Essie Davis, Royal Eden, Deloyce Eden, and Enoyce Eden. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Norval was a U.S. Army veteran and former employee of Natmar Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a Christian who was saved and baptized. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Bowen Chapel Cemetery in Carter County with Bro. Gary Madden officiating.
