Norma Virginia York Quesinberry, age 87, of Grayson, Kentucky, formerly of Mt. Hope Cemetery Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011, at the Carter Nursing and Rehab Center in Grayson. Born May 26, 1924, in Bethel, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Carl Talmadge York, Sr. and Katharyn Vice York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles York, and one sister, Dixie York. Her husband of 57 years, Gilbert Ray Quesinberry, Sr., preceded her in death on May 5, 2005. Mrs. Quesinberry is survived by one son, Gilbert Ray Quesinberry, Jr. and wife Donna of Grayson, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Mary Ann Quesinberry, Heather Virginia Quesinberry and Kristal Rae Quesinberry, all of Grayson, Kentucky; and two brothers, Carl Talmadge York, Jr. and Travis York, both of Elwood, Indiana. Mrs. Quesinberry was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith. She enjoyed participating in all the activities at the nursing home, especially the church services. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Ronald Knox and Brother Daniel Long officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery on Pretty Ridge, Morehead, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
